HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

The best way is to submit a booking request above with all the required information! However, you may also book an appointment through Baron Art Tattoo Shop and ask for Jane as your preferred artist!:)

DOES IT HURT?

To be honest, yes, but it is totally bearable! Each person has a different pain tolerance, and different body placements feel differently. Speaking from experience, most of our clients scare themselves too much before coming in, and they always go “Oh, this is not that bad” afterwards. Just stay calm and relax!

HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO GET A TATTOO?

You must be at least 18 years of age. It is against California Law to tattoo a minor, even with parental consent. In accordance with this law we have a strict NO MINORS POLICY. Not only must you be 18, you have to prove it with a valid State or Federal Photo ID. No exceptions.

HOW MUCH DOES A TATTOO COST?

The minimum charge is $80 per person. Final price is dependent on size and detail of the design.

HOW CAN I GET A PRICE QUOTE?

Please submit a booking submission to receive a quote. In order for us to quote your idea, we need to consider the subject, size, placement on the body, detail, colors, etc.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY TATTOO?

We recommend that you eat and rest well before you come in, and remember to stay hydrated. If you start to feel woozy, have something sweet. Sugar is the key in this situation. It’s best not to party the night before because alcohol can increase bleeding for up to 24 hours. Blood also dilutes our pigments, affecting both the appearance of your tattoo as well as the healing process.

HOW LONG DOES A TATTOO TAKE TO HEAL AND WHAT SHOULD I DO AFTER?

It usually takes two weeks to “heal,” although it takes longer for the skin to fully regenerate. It is not advised to take part in any sports, sunbathing or swiming after getting a tattoo. Natural tattooed skin healing process usually takes 7-28 days. Even if the tattoo looks visibly healed, the natural protective skin barrier recovery period continues for another three to four weeks.

Every shop has its own recommended care methods. You will be given an instruction note after. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any question. If the after care instructions are not followed thoroughly, the tattoo will not heal properly. During the healing progress, it is possible for the color of the tattoo to partially fade away to the extent that some areas of the skin may even get damaged. Very subtle lines thereby could become wider then before. For others, the entire tattoo could fade away prematurely. The skincare really plays a very, very important role in the final result. Ultimately, you should never forget that you and your artist have invested a lot of effort and time in order to provide the best possible result, so please follow the aftercare instructions! In addition, we do offer one time FREE touch-up for our clients within three months if necessary.
